Results of the study showed that attending the workshops succeeded in improving the participants’ awareness about water conservation options, including such non-traditional options as the dry toilets. Results indicated that there is a significant increase in social impact of some water management options on the participants of the different groups investigated. The social impact of using dry toilets was minus 54 socio-points in the nonworkshop attendees (participants who did not attend workshops); the impact increased to minus 21 socio-points among the workshop attendees (participants who attended the workshops).
